Introduction to frame loom weaving

Weaving is a traditional textile-making technique used to create fabric by interlacing two sets of threads at right angles to each other. This method opens up an infinite world of creative possibilities! Frame loom weaving is closely related to tapestry techniques.

Passionate about this craft, Mathilde will guide you through the workshop and share her expertise.

You’ll learn how to create your own unique woven piece! You can choose to frame it, hang it, or place it on a piece of furniture to decorate your space. This workshop is designed for beginners.

You’ll discover the fundamentals of frame loom weaving, with an explanation of the concept of classic weaves such as plain weave or twill, natté and Chevron. We’ll work with carefully sourced yarns—reclaimed materials, high-quality production surplus, or responsibly produced threads.

Everything you need will be provided: a weaving frame, shuttles, comb, and a variety of colorful and textured yarns. You can (but it is not required!) bring color palette ideas or inspiration images—we’ll look at them together and explore how to interpret them in your weaving.

This workshop is open to everyone! It takes place in our boutique & studio, around a large shared table. A warm or cold drink and a healthy snack will be offered. See you soon!

CANCELLATION POLICY - A minimum of 2 participants must be reached for the workshop to take place.

Cancellation by the participant

- More than 2 days before the start of the course: you can cancel your registration by notifying us in writing (e-mail, text message, post) at least 2 days before the start of the session. In this case, a full refund will be made or, if you prefer, a transfer to another session may be offered, subject to availability.

- Less than 2 days before the start of the course: Any cancellation made less than 2 days before the start of the session will not be refunded but may be transferred.

Cancellation by the workshop

In the event of cancellation on our part for reasons beyond your control (insufficient number of participants, logistical problems, etc.), you will be refunded in full or given the option of transferring your registration to another session, at your convenience.

Refunds will be made within 14 days of receipt of the cancellation request, subject to compliance with the above conditions.
